Sawkill Farm is a 200 acre farm in Red Hook, NY, right here in the beautiful Hudson Valley, and we are so happy to offer it in our collection of locally produced yarns!

Sawkill yarns are produced using fiber from their own flock of sheep~ bred, raised and shorn right at the farm. And with the addition of 40% domestic merino, this woolen spun bulky weight yarn is light and airy and quite elastic...

The fiber is spun at Green Mountain Spinnery in Putney, VT and then returned to the farm for washing, skeining and dyeing.
